Acapulco on Glendale

The most depressing thing about Acapulco is... almost everything. Maybe it's just that I don't love a chain mexican restaurant. I live in LA for fuck's sake, I prefer a taco truck. But, sometimes you need an air conditioned establishment and a delicious beverage, so this is where I was. And it was kinda' sad.  

However, their bathroom is nice, clean, and has all the amenities necessary to make it worth a visit (especially in a pinch). Weak margaritas, though. Bummer. 

They did a decent tile to match the decor, some plastic plants on an end table, a real changing table (let's never speak of how that compares to Chango...), and a handicap grab bar. To top it off, this bathroom is BIG, and I love some space in a facility. It makes me feel less rushed. 

Also, I like this big door (and respectable lock). I know, I'm really bad at taking pics. Sorry.

I'm just going to go ahead and be picky here... I didn't like the soap. Blue and a little funky smelling. But, the sink was clean, so that kept a hairphobe happy. 

So all in all, I'm giving it a B. To be fair, it would have been a B+, but it got knocked down because I can't get over how tacky and disappointing the rest of the place is. I know, I'm harsh.
